Criminal Minds might be losing a cast member. I'd read rumours of it yesterday but dismissed them ... because, well, I was considering
the source. This is really disappointing, if true. (I'm not sure if Reuters has confirmed the rumours on their own or if they've just reposting E!'s stuff.) Though some posters on the E! boards are wondering if this could mean that another one of my favourite shows might be showing some signs of ... life. I'm trying to be vague, because I don't know what's considered spoilers nowadays, especially 'casting spoilers', but that last sentence might give it away if you watch both of the shows. (I'm torn! Why must you do this, TV? Why must I choose? *shakes fist*)
I'll be so glad when the fall season starts and all this casting crap is resolved one way or another. It's not helping my nerves, wondering if my favourite people still have jobs. (CSI, I'm glaring at you.)
JJ Abrams
is saying that the Ethan Haas sites relating to 'Cloverfield' are bogus. I don't believe him, mainly because this type of misdirection fits v. nicely with the whole viral marketing thing. And, if they are fake, then it was also to be expected; viral marketing has a mind of its own, but I doubt they'll complain too much because it all seems to be working. (I wonder if CBS is regretting cancelling The Class yet. This has been some great advertising for it, to say the least.)
Peter Davison
joins the cast of Spamalot, as King Arthur, on 23 July. :D
Not much news to share today, sorry.
