I struggled with similar issues when I read the Hunger Games. The first person narrative drove me absolutely nuts!

I've heard interesting things about The Golem and the Djinni but I'm not sure it's exactly my thing. Good to hear your review though!

I hadn't heard of that Lunar Chronicles short story! I need to check it out now!

That is good to hear. So many people seem to like the Hunger Games so much that makes me wonder what is wrong with me haha.

I got it because I wanted to read a book again that was stood on its own without a huge series behind it.

This was one of the last short stories she put up I think at the start of the year. :)

I feel that way too! Everyone always raves about it and I'm just like "Eh". In fact, I prefer the movies over the books!

I saw the movie a week after reading the book and thought it was better too!

My favorite is the second movie! It was really well done, I thought.
