saksadkfsf Saw UnsraW on Monday, and they were SO amazing Ide. I wasn't expecting that much, but dayum. Possibly the best live I've ever been to (definitely in the top 3), but definitely the most fun. I only knew like 3 of their songs beforehand, had none on my iPod, and didn't know any of the words. Now they're one of my favourite bands. xD Their music is amazing (especially live), and they're so funny and friendly. C: They're also REALLY short. Like, short even for a Jrock band. Also, a girl recognised me from D'espairsRay IN PARIS. HOW.
So basically, the venue (Scala) is like a 5 minute walk from my house. I got home from school at about 5, got changed, hurriedly learned the names of the band members (felt like I should because of the signing after xD), and ate some cupcakes. I had planned to just show up at about 7.30 (when the doors opened), but was ready about an hour before that. I had nothing better to do, so I went early and talked to some nice people in the queue. (Y)
The venue (well, the part we were in) was quite small. The capacity was probably 200-300 people. There were only about 50 of us. xD The stage was really low, and there was no barrier, so we were sitting on it whilst waiting for the band to come on. The lack of people meant there was no-one in front of me (and sometimes like one behind), and I was right in front of Tetsu. There was basically one row of people along the front of the stage, a couple more rows in the middle, and a few people who for some reason stood at the back. I thought this would just be really awkward, but it worked. The crowd was really enthusiastic, but shut up at the right times. (Y)
At first, Tetsu was kinda looking like "Why are we bothering with this? There's no-one here", and like he didn't really want to be there. He got into it soon enough, though. But yeah, they seemed to have fun, and messed around loads. Because the stage was so small, you could actually see Shou (the drummer). He smiled a lot. xD It was sweet how the other members didn't ignore him like most bands do with their drummer.
But yeah, not many people meant decent temperature, and loads of space, so the headbanging was super violent. My neck still aches. xD I DON'T EVEN MIND, THOUGH, BECAUSE IT JUST REMINDS ME OF THE LIVE. THAT'S HOW GOOD IT WAS. D8
The encore was just sdjkdsjkd hilarious, and so much fun. Madoka is just hilarious, and I love him. He was like jumping off the stage and running around the room and stuff. He switched guitars with Tetsu at some point, and just shoved the radio transmitter down the front of his trousers. Tetsu was not amused. Yuuki kept pouring water on people, and ruffling their hair. Several of the members like grabbed our hands and yanked us forward. I think they were trying to pull us on stage, but there were people in the way. xD They eventually got a couple of people up there, though. They all (with the exception of Shou, obviously) did a lot of sort of leaning into the crowd/occasionally throwing themselves into it. As they were leaving, Christabel threw some water at Madoka. He came back and sort of pretended to be annoyed, then blew raspberries at her. (He is clearly the mature one in the band.) She also managed to get hold of Tetsu's pick and put it in her mouth. He actually tried to get it back out of her mouth. xD She won.
After they were gone, we had some time to get merchandise before they came back for the signing. I got a poster and CD. 8D They were all really friendly. C: And lolol they did like such polite handshakes. Apart from Madoka, who did that first, then did that enthusiastic handshake-type thing that sort of looks like arm wrestling. Yuuki does not know how to use a pen, and it exploded a bit on my poster. Lolol he apologised and looked slightly guilty (in the 'child caught doing something wrong' way, not the 'feeling bad about it' way xD). I had my photo taken with Shou. I do love him, but he's not my favourite. Not sure why I chose him. xD Also looool he was wearing Crocs. D8 Also lolol someone tried to take a photo with Yuuki, and Madoka photobombed them.
With Shou. I, of course, looked ridic.
Signed poster. Note the explosions by Yuuki. Looks like Madoka had a bit of trouble with pen explosions too, actually, as there's an even bigger ink explosion by him. Also, this poster is HUGE.
Also, Birmingham applicant open day thing was today. I like this university very much.
