Paris

dsjbdslkfd I love that city sfm. I want to live there. And not just in a "Oh, it'd be nice to live there" way. Like, I actually intend to do it at some point, and it's actually quite possible, given what I intend to study at university and all. London is just so shit in comparison, with its tiny pavements and stuff. >:C
Also, I don't know why people say the French/Parisians are rude. No-one was rude to me (just a few who were being creepers, but not in a mean way, if that makes sense xD). People were actually really friendly. Idk, maybe they're just rude to the annoying tourists who always get in the way, and can't speak French.

-Right, so I had to get up at 5.30am. D8 That sucked, but I got over it. We got to Paris at about 12.
-Lololol my dad knows some French, but his accent is so English. xD It was pretty adorable.
-My dad gave me money to buy clothes. I bought absolutely no clothes. I did, however, manage to spend about 50 euros on Grenadine, snacks, and a CD.
-He left to go to a meeting.
-I went to see Le Bataclan (venue for D'espairsRay), so I'd be able to get there quicker in October. I found it by myself. 8D Lololol, there were like 20 video game shops on that street.
-Decided to walk to my next destination instead of using the Metro, because I just liked the city so much.
-People kept trying to talk to me, but I couldn't understand anything. D8  A* FRENCH GCSE MEANS NOTHING. DDDD8 But at least I could read pretty much everything. xD I think one of them was actually asking me for directions, because he was like "La clé?", and I had no idea what he was on about, but then later passed somewhere with that name. I mostly understood the people working in shops, though. And the waiter at the restaurant.
-Saw a gazillion sushi restaurants. Srsly, they were everywhere. Wat.
-Made it all the way to Bastille by myself, where I met my dad for lunch. Lolol we had Korean food.
-Dad helped me find Boddywood (lolol it was closed) and BTTSB, which were in the area, but I never would have found them myself.
-He left to go to another meeting. I didn't have anything else I particularly wanted to do, so I just wandered around. It's actually so much more fun than going to touristy places. xD I don't know why people bother with them. Also, I didn't feel like a tourist at all. 8D I actually found myself thinking "bloody tourists" at the stupid tourists who were getting in my way.  >:C
-Got ice cream from Amorino. It actually tasted like Italian ice cream. 8DD
-I coulda sworn that an old man called me 'lolita'. I wasn't wearing lolita. D8
-Decided I wanted to find a Fnac (French equivalent of HMV), so got the Metro to Louvre-rivoli. Couldn't find one, and successfully asked for directions in French, but then didn't understand the reply. xD He said 'forum', which I'd never heard in French before, so got really confused. Then he told me in English. xD
-Tried to find the Fnac for ages, thought I lost 20 euros (but didn't), then eventually found the Fnac.
-Wandered around for a while, then noticed that there was a manga section with a load of J-rock CDs. They had D'espairsRay's Immortal (Europe edition with DVD). 8D The only place I'd been able to find it before was the German Amazon.
-Did more wandering, then went back to the station to meet my dad.
-On the Eurostar back, made a Grenadine-Orangina-Ice Tea super drink. It was... interesting.

Lolol what is this.

Grenadine. 8D They were so bloody heavy, though, and destroyed ALL of my plastic bags.

8D
