unbudgeted time
A sudden change of plans for the night kept me from my beloved. This has left me free to reflect on recent happenings...
Most of last weekend was spent somewhere in the vicinity of Mallow with farenheights, nabnerd and caz, mostly lounging around watching movies. (Note to self: sunglasses to be carried at all times in future.) A nice relaxed weekend, even while being late for cinema screenings. So relaxed in fact, that I actually lost track of time on the sunday, something that rarely happens. The aftermath involved croissants...
Either side of that, work has been pretty lousy. I seem to have picked up something more than a cold from the late finishes. Bloody annoying. Have been told symptoms match a chest infection. Will have to try to get some rest over next few nights to try to clear it, whatever it is.
Am starting to get fed up with the inconsistent attitudes and knee-jerk reactions of those at work. They seem to have no concept of following through on something, or often even how to approach it in an organized fashion. I am tiring of needing to expend extra effort just to cover others' bad management. It has been impinging too much on my own undertakings of late. Work to rule is the option that springs to mind ^^
