(no subject)
Some stuff has happened. Yay!
Soooo... my birthday was the 29th of September. On the Friday before (the 28th) I had a sleepover, which was cool because it was just a few close friends of mine, and we hung out and watched movies... and my friend Dana made me watch "Rocky Horror Picture Show" for the first time.
Sweet angry Jesus. Has anyone actually seen that movie?? Everyone at that party has been permanently scarred a good deal into their afterlife... but it was an awesome movie. Tim Curry was an effectively nightmarish transvestite, which resulted in many dirty jokes throughout the night.
Other than that, Kelly brought over "Labyrinth" and we had fried chicken and mozzarella sticks that my mom made. Yummy.
So the next day after my friends had left, my parents gave me their present, which was a brand new drawing tablet... hooray!! I drew like crazy for the first few days... which brings us to why I didn't post last week. Because I fell out of the school bus and onto the pavement... which hurt. A lot. So my elbow was gashed open in two places and until about Saturday, I couldn't bend it at all... not too fun.
But talking of the weekend, I went to the Hard Rock Cafe for a week-late birthday celebration (because my cool aunt spent the weekend with us, so she got to come with, and so did Kelly), and I got a free birthday pin, and also a free ice cream sundae... which the employees smeared all over my face as I stood at the front of the restaruant. Fun!
(I'll have to post pictures of the pin later, because I googled it and couldn't find anything that looks like what I have.)
Yup. Just recently my elbow has gotten a lot better, and I can bend it and everything, so that makes brushing my hair and putting on clothes a LOT easier.
And this Friday at a local theatre, they're showing "Rocky Horror" again, so Kelly and a couple of other people are going to go see it. I'll see if I can post pictures of stuff soon, but I don't know when I'll be able to upload them. =)
