Halcyon of Belief
Oi..its been awhile..this weekend has been long and spent drinking and sleeping on floors and couches. I gotta say its been a toll on my brain and my liver. Day after day of beer for breakfest has made me ..something...i can't think clear. And to finish off , we got a keg for an anti-4th of july party on the 3rd...and timbo and myself decided that it was a great idea to try to finish it...so the end result was us greeting the morning light...still drinking beer..still not being able to sleep...so on the 4th my head was cracked open..i swear i could smell and see brain ..so i slept ...and slept. and then the bastards opened up. I used to like fireworks as a kid...but now..it has that creepy connotation of an airstrike and carpet bombings and all that great stuff..so when i got dark and i started hearing the low thuds..i wrapped myself in an american flag, got a bottle of whiskey, loaded the shotgun..and blocked the window and door with mattresses..and sat in the middle of the room humming and meditating.. if those bastards are gonna get me..at least i'll be ready..
