LOST TIME LIFE
WAS AWESOME. So awesome. Seeing Koyama that close up was amazing. And he's such a good actor. The play is different from the drama... same idea and everything, and he plays the same character doing the same job... but different events take place.
So okay... back up. Today I met up with
white_remus and we went and ate curry for lunch! It was tasty and then we met up with
shimmeredusk and went and had tea and sat around and talked for a couple of hours before going to find the Tokyo Globe Theater. We got there and saw how small it was and then went and found me a bathroom and then they said goodbye to me as I went into the NO GAIJIN ZONE.
Holy crap. I've never felt my true minority-ness until today. I mean... just... damn. I stood there by myself, playing with my keitai, wishing that I could just sit down. I srsly was just like 'lalalalala'.
I also tried to buy a pamphlet and the woman was like NO! LOOK AT THE SAMPLE! And I was like '... I WANT TO BUY TWO' and she was like '...4000 yen please'. WTF! There was also something for Fam. Club members, but I couldn't understand the angry keigo and I wasn't going to stand in line and have them shout angry keigo at me that I don't understand. Sadface.
So I finally got to go sit and some dude had to show me to my seat cuz I couldn't find the stairs cuz I'm just... lost by myself. I made it, and sat down and my seat was pretty good :D I was on the 2nd floor, but this place was SMALL! Like... idk. Small. Koyama was the size of my freaking FOREARM (at Tokyo Dome he was like, the size of my pinky...) and the only problem was that there was a DECORATIVE BALL (that was a part of the railing) in my line of vision. I was a little annoyed with this... but it only obstructed Koyama from my view once... so yay.
It started and right away Koyama was amazing. I got goosebumps from the very begining because it showed him right before he dies and he was all struggling and screaming and omg. The entire play was good, I had a little trouble following some parts and I didn't understand like, a ton of it due to all of the police terms, but I got the story, and I could understand most conversations that weren't taking place in police terms... and then the end made me kinda go 'omgggg wtffff I don't get ittttt' and then I got it and was like 'OMG' and everyone around me was crying and then Koyama died D:
Then after it ended the actors all came out and bowed and then Koyama came back out and bowed like a million times and then the last time he came out he was walking off stage and everyone was SCREAMING KEI-CHAN and he turned around and waved and then right before he hit the curtains he turned around and made a funny face and gave peace signs and it was SO Koyama and everyone went crazy.
Also... the guys playing the soccer refs were HILARIOUS! God, they were cracking everyone up. Koyama had a few really funny moments too, but it was over all pretty serious. But some of the things he did were kinda funny just cuz we all KNOW him as Koyama the Johnny... ya know?
Afterwards I was just like 'well damn Koyama' and left. So besides feeling TOTALLY out of place, and slightly alone (cuz those things are really more fun to go to with someone else) I really enjoyed it and had a good time and I'm sooooo happy that I went!!!!!!!
In other news... I can't believe that the Korean fangirls PULLED YAMAPI'S HAIR. God, srsly. Fangirls are crazy.
I also watched the Arashi special last night where they did crazy experiments and LOLed a lot with my host mom. Aiba in a mirror suit... too much I tell you. And Neen almost died playing the cymbols under water. But NOTHING can beat that fail boat that they made.
