a not so spooky halloween entry

They say that good things come to those who wait. You can let me know at the end if this was worth the wait.

Psychologists are damned boring people. Think of the fun psychologists could have on such a wonderful holiday as was today. Face it - they know everything about the mind and terror, right? So what do the psychologists around here do? Orange punch and some cookies shaped like pumpkins. These people have no creativity - no wonder the quality of research and theory has been going downhill all these years. No creativity.

And the people over in the department of romance languages and literature don’t seem to realize that for a día de los muertos party, you have to leave the food out for los muertos! I checked. They took it all away with them after the party. What kind of horrible departments does this university have? I really must find someplace else.

My life such as it is has been relatively boring. No one gets frightened with the lights flicker or windows just seem to pop open anymore, apparently they decided the wiring was on the fritz and the windows needed to be replaced, so thanks to me the psychology department is getting funded for building improvements. I need to come up with new things to do to frighten them. I tried giving someone a hug the other day, when they correctly identified the preconscious as such, rather than saying subconscious. She put on a coat saying she was cold. Why, why does no one believe in ghosts anymore? I hear Edger is off taunting students over at U-Va, and getting quite the rise from them, why does no one do the same for me? I think you should all comment with something I can do to frighten people in the labs.

And finally, I once said that the thing you fear is the thing you wish. I fear someone renewing my paid account for me... I’ll find something to update about my sure, or comment in your journal more often if you do.
