Resolutions - January
I am late with this, but travel interfered with posting.
Recipes
Week 1 - chicken with mustard and lemon sauce
Week 2 (january 8) - Cheese Krispy Crackers, Rainbow Trout with garlic dill sauce, Ginger Butternut Squash Soup, Hamburger Muffins, Polenta with Tomato Sauce, Quick and Delicious Chicken
Week 3 (January 15) -Quick and Easy Chicken (In a Manor of Speaking)
Week 4 (January 22) - pasta with blue cheese sauce), lasagne muffins (inspired by a recipe from Cheap Eats)
Week 5 - January 29 - curried parsnip soup
Siberian ravioli things, curried carrot soup, chow mein noodles and bean sprouts, rice and peanut dish from wartime Maritimes
Things gotten rid of:
January 1 - ball of wool and a button (made into a scarf and given away)
January 2 - stick that will never become a spindle, many bits of paper, book
January 3 - coat, garbage bag full of clothes from my room, some boards
January 4 - sofa (okay, it was replaced with a new sofa), boots, jacket
January 5 - tablet weaving cards, bag full of bridles and bits, two books, 17 wine bottles
January 6 - pair of jeans, book, singed liners from my Norse shoes
January 7 - clock
January 8 - finished a pair of mittens (craft UFO for the month)
January 9 - dog coat, seatbelt and winter shoes
January 10 - Kong, 2 books
January 11 - book, dog nail nippers, ear drying cream, toothpast
January 12 - 2 large squares of plywood, magazine (borrowed from a swimming buddy in about October, and finally returned)
January 13 -glass jar (old bear-shaped peanut butter jar that I had been using as a piggy bank, despite owning real piggy banks)
January 14 - flag
January 15 - box of National Geographics
January 16 - some cleaning rags
January 17 - tea towel that had developed a hole (I already have too many cleaning rags)
January 18 - bunch of hockey sticks
January 19 - old winter coat (does it count if I bought a replacement coat?
January 20 - quilted cloth bag
21 - bicycle seat
22 - book
23 - book
24 - beading set
25 - piece of lace (started it back in the 80s and never finished, it's permanently discoloured, and I think I can do a better job now)

27 - 2 bags of ice (unclear wy I have been saving them in the freezer since last summer)
