log; they say the most horrible things; Kamil & Reza

After Lycurgus' post.

Reza stared at the screen blankly for a few moments.

Rafael is dead.

That simply wasn't possible. It was not possible. Rex couldn't die, he couldn't die, he .... he was not allowed to just die and leave her like this.

Come to Lisbon.

Come to Lisbon and what then? See that he was dead? Reza didn't know. She pushed herself away from the computer and brushed her thumb across her lip trying to just take it all in. Then she remembered the reason she was even looking at the community. Keeping an eye out to help out her dear General. What was he doing anyway? Reza scowled and stormed upstairs.

Kamil had actually taken a break from some Order work to...read.

Yes, he was reading a book. HE WAS BEING NORMAL-- anyway.

The Black Order General was taking advice from an ex-Knight of his and actually relaxing, which he found weird. He was still thinking of the new headquarters, training sessions, his two new Knights, the new Sigil, anything and everything. And so reading was helping him relax and re-organize everything.

"......you're a fucking idiot," he muttered to himself as he flipped the page. Maybe reading wasn't relaxing him that much.

...Some part of Reza knew what she was doing was totally wrong and uncivilized and uncalled for. However she didn't let that sanity kick in at all, slamming the bedroom door open- kudos to her she didn't break it- she was like a child.

The few steps were nothing as she crossed over from the door to where Kamil was. Reza already knew very well what to do- she drew back her fist and punched her General on the face. About time someone did anyway, his stony silence was beginning to really, REALLY grate on her last nerve.

It was like a 007 movie from waaaaaaaaay back when. He looked up from his book when the door was slammed open, tongue ready to ask why the fuck Reza had just stormed in as she did, and instead his face whipped around to the side, book and door forgotten.

It took a moment for him to orient himself before he let out as many curses as he knew in as many languages he knew, before looking at her with what was quickly becoming a swollen cheek. And he tasted blood in his mouth, wonderful.

"What the fuck was that for?!" he roared, glaring at her.

There were many answers that came to mind as Reza stared at Kamil evenly. The first was an insult, calling him a twat and then hitting him some more. Or she could storm out and ignore him until he felt like poking her again. The one she wasn't expecting was the one that happened. Reza simply bursted into tears.

......If it were anyone else she'd be wanting to jab her eyes out for allowing herself to do such a stupid thing. Reza just stomped her foot angrily, and lifted her hand to wipe her face angrily.

Kamil had grabbed a bottle of water to wet a towel and put it to his cheek, before looking back at Reza and waiting for an answer. "So?"

It felt as if minutes, hours passed, and then the tears came down and his eyes widened. It was...weird, to see her crying, but he moved over to grab her wrist and sit her down on the bed.

"What's with you?" he asked, tone not as angry, but still firm so he could find out what was up.

Reza stared at him like he was an idiot. But then she went ahead and said it anyway, "You- twat." What was with her? A lot. Reza would love to have blamed this outburst on her hormones, sadly she couldn't. Right now she was going from upset and crying to wishing his cheek swelled and turned a nice purple colour soon.

Kamil used his free hand to wipe the tears away from her cheeks, "I can't read your mind, Reza. What's wrong?" His cheek probably was turning an ugly purple, it sure as hell hurt.

It was always a one step forward, two back sort of deal. She pushed his hand away- not forceful- uncomfortable with the reminder that she had just... started to cry without any sort of explanation. "Rex is dead." Reza muttered. It wasn't just that Rex was dead.

With him... died her hopes of bringing Damien back without betraying her side. "Your fucking Order killed him." And there was no way back now.

The first statement didn't really do anything for him. He had only met Rex once - and the man was nude, dear God what - so it wasn't that much of a loss for him. But the second statement piqued his interest - the Black Order killed him?

The Black Order tried to not kill anyone unless they were White Order.

Oh.

Kamil frowned and he stood up holding the towel to his cheek, "And what do you expect me to say besides 'I'm sorry for your loss'?" He was finding it hard to be compassionate if she was unwilling to be comforted, instead spewing out stuff that he couldn't do anything about.

"I think I might have a problem with the notion of being comforted by one of the people responsible for killing him" Reza glared at him, drawing back her fist as if to punch him again- this time lower down, but controlled herself. "I'm not expecting you to say anything, Kamil. Fucking hell, when have I ever expected anything from you." Nothing at all.......except maybe sex, but it wasn't like that anymore. Fine, so she shouldn't have punched him, but... she couldn't but blame her own order for this. "Rex didn't deserve to die."

"I didn't kill him. I didn't even know he was part of the White Order until you made that comment," he shot back, returning the glare. "I want to comfort you and yet you're acting as if I was the one who killed him, ran my swords through his body and then let him bleed to death. Wake up, it wasn't me. You want to be mad, be mad at those who actually killed him, not me."

Kamil went to go and dampen the towel with some more water before pressing it back to his cheek, "I can't vouch for Rex because I only met him once, but I am sorry that you lost him."

"Don't." Reza warned in a low voice, her tone a bit more pained than she would've liked, she didn't need a mental image of how Kamil would've killed him, thank you. So whatever chances she had of calming down there were gone. The knight shook her head, "What you're really thinking is- good that we got rid of another White Order person. Isn't it?"

"Yes, I am thinking that. But it's unfortunate that the only way to be rid of them is to kill them." Kamil couldn't help it - a swollen cheek and now Reza blaming him for whatever city's Black Order's actions pissed him off.

Her face turned into a very, very ugly scowl and the only thing that kept her from jumping him right there and then was the fact she was too upset. "Be rid of them? You fucking ass." It wasn't just them, it wasn't some plague, it was Rex- a friend- he just. He was Rex. Kamil was being what she loathed the most, a General of the Black Order. "Fucking General."

He used his free hand to point towards the door, "Feel free to let yourself out, Knight." He knew he shouldn't be talking like that, but then again, that was indeed his human side thinking that. His General side didn't give a sht about the White Order. The one he could give a shit or two about was Evelyn, and that was as thin as ice.

Something like disbelief and then hurt crossed her face at those words, not just the use of the word knight. It was childish but.......she threw the lamp at his head before storming out of his room and out of the house.

After all she had a plane to catch.
