The sun is shining and the day is beautiful. It's really lifted my spirits. No more mourning over chocolate ice cream. Especially after reading the calories on the back of the tub. Yikes.
Though I've been off work (not many tourists in Rome after the earthquake), I've been keeping myself busy. Something about idle hands and the Devil. And I don't like staying still for too long. It's taken some adjusting, but staying with Alessandra has been rather pleasant, though I worry about Delia and I outstaying our welcome. Hopefully she doesn't mind that I rearranged the furniture today. While searching for self help books, I found one on Feng Shui and decided to give it a go. Hopefully I have freed the place of negative energy!
Delia and I returned today to the wreckage that was our lovely home and salvaged what we could. My collection of ABBA CDs survived without a scratch. God is obviously a fan.
