This afternoon, in Rome, in front of Alesh's Kwik-E-Mart.
Today.. was the day. Flurrice and Clurrice circled around each other in front of the Kwik-e-Mart-- one in a baleiyhat, one in expensive furs and diamond rings. Adelbert stood by with a fire extinguisher and waterguns filled with ketchup, for extra ammunition.
Flurr chugged the slushie Alesh had given him, aslushin a slush, a blushin a blush under the hot Roman sun.
He put on his stunna shades from inside the baleiyhat.
Flurr
was ready
to rumble. Pacing around like a gorilla on his knuckles, he then uttered a noise that only came from llamas. Llama fighting.
Katinka squatted down and smoothed her palm over the rich Roman soil. Then she smeared it all over her face. Someone began to chant her name then, and to clap slowly. Katinka stood and made complex hand motions at Adelbert, who tossed her a baleiyhat. Shrieking like a banshee, she lit it on fire and hurled it at Flurrice.
"IF IT WERE A GANG YOU'D BE DEAD," she cooed. "THIS IS A GANG, FLURRICE. CAN YOU HANDLE IT? CAN YOU RUN WITH THE HOUNDS?"
She set a bystander on fire and pranced around as if doing some mad war dance.
Madness.
Flurr caught the flaming baleiyhat and jammed it on top of his own, making it a doublebaleiyhat. Double the trouble. Imitating Katinka's actions he waved his hands at her too, before hurtling towards her, smoke spewing from the top of his head, and putting his elite pickpocketing skills to the test as he took all her diamonds and shoved them into his pockets.
"VAT EES YOU THINK," he shrieked.
Katinka arched a brow at the baleiyhat-chimney tottering atop of Flurr's head and recalled words spoken to her by Izayah not long ago: "You should blow up cars."
Katinka backhanded Flurr, then strode off in the direction of the kwik-e-mart parking log. Minutes later she was gunning the engine of a flaming BMW convertible, heading straight for Flurr. The front bumper hit his snorting, trembling form and rolled him right into the sewer.
Katinka fixed her hair in the rear view mirror, got out of the car, and walked away in slow motion as it exploded behind her.
"We out," she said to Adelbert. "The Hound has spoken."
At least Flurr had the diamonds, even if he would have to wear a neckbrace for a while.
