This is nice.
I don't think I've ever felt this happy or calm for awhile now. So many bad things keep happening to our family. But ... things seem to be okay right now. Uncle Miho is here. Uncle Serge keeps on visiting us. I have Uncle Aristide and Dom here with me. The only person we're missing is Aunt Simone.
It would be nice if she was here too.
But ... this is nice. How things are right now.

I got a couple of new books the other day. A few of them are in Portuguese, since I think that maybe reading it will help learn it better. I've picked up a couple of words and phrases from watching tv though! Uncle Aristide would be horrified if he heard me say them though...[gone] The rest are English and French.
