Perhaps the Oracles don't like us here in Paris.

Things have come to a bit of a standstill but I'm sure it won't last for long.

And in Paris?

Standstill? With the Black Order?

Quiet again. Black Order hasn't shown themselves in public in the city to us since their last attack. I believe one of their Knights died recently. Good riddance.

Yes. It would seem that they enjoy biding their time.

If you have lost your General, then it's fortunate that they haven't made any further attempts yet.

Nothing more than a nuisance. Do you have any leverage on them?

We have, unfortunately. Any attempts the Black Order even dares to make I'll take care of them myself. ESPECIALLY THAT DRAGON SUMMONER.

Van, was it? I am Isaiah. We have a Knight of theirs, they have a Sigil of ours. Negotiations are proceeding slowly but I'm a patient man.

The dragon, yes. I've heard about it. Such things should stay in children's stories where they belong.

A Knight? That's a job well done. Hm, they haven't made a choice yet? I never thought they'd be so cruel to their own Knight.

Agreed.

They're rather stubborn. But we've been treating their Knight well. We used to feed her cake until her General protested. Since then we've been giving her celery and whole wheat bread.

...her General was upset over cake?

He was concerned for her health. An understandable concern but it seems as if she'd rather have the cake.
