I've noticed there's a lot of English here, and it makes me wonder if perhaps this place is overrun with Americans, just like everywhere else. Now I don't mean to be bitter; I could very well be a tourist here in Paris even though I'm not, but American tourists are easily the worst because the CIA is notoriously vicious.
