Today we commemorate the passing of Lang, a highly talented artist and trigger happy Canadian. It is unfortunate that she had to be put out of her misery, but it was for the ultimate good of mankind. Amen.

Still, it's painful. A lot of my friends are starting to read this stuff and go fangirl over it. It's worse than the creepiest ShizNat fans, and that's saying a lot. No wonder the internet is fun - so many snarky anti-Twilight sites. I just... don't get it. At all.
I know the whole well spoken, charming, good looking thing was supposedly based on Pride and Prejudice. But Pride and Prejudice was at least funny and I could sit through the movie version of it without wanting to harm myself.
...Helps that Keira Knightley is a looker, but then so is Kristen Stewart, so that can't be the only reason. Oh well. Maybe I can hide in a cave until the craze passes.
