here we go again
My poor laptop - the one that's been with me around the world, fallen from overhead bins in trains and airplanes, that survived a glass of water, that's put up with me for two years - has gotten a giant crack in its screen. I suspect I'm the culprit, but honestly I was so tired last night I don't remember.
God dammit I am SO glad I have a warranty til 2012 and a dependable flash drive (except when I lose the bugger).
Revising my to do list now to include some things I forgot...
To do list
-Shower
-Laundry
-Work on Data and Analysis - Part 1 section of LingAnthro paper, try to get to Part 2
-Deposit paycheck
-Pick up my incomplete form from the languages division tomorrow
-Go to Chado and buy Petra a Christmas present/thank you gift
-Buy wrapping paper/gift bags for people's Christmas present
-Do any last second shopping in Oldtown
-Wrap Petra's and Milne's presents
-Linguistic Anthropology paper due Friday in mailbox
-Drop off Milne's birthday/thank you present in mailbox
-Save LingAnthro articles onto computer before next week
-Exchange Threadless t-shirt and New York and Company vest to a smaller size
-E-mail potential Linguistics Club officers
-Buy a dress for my Majority ceremony
-Contact MSi tech support, drive laptop over to City of Industry
-Work on Sketchbook project notebook
-Work Bill's birthday present (Put Bill's birthday present IN Sketchbook Project?)
-Start working on missing math homework
-Work on Psycholinguistics paper
-Work on Psycholinguistics homework
-Buy/make 2012 planner
Relatedly, I think after the majority of the holiday shopping and this mess is over, I'm going to buy Pokemon HeartGold. I've thought about it a lot, and even though I like the majority of the version-exclusives in SoulSilver more, I can transfer most of them through my Sapphire version. I've never owned Gold version even though it has more significance to me (My Chinese name means "Gold", Ho-Oh, Rainbow Wing, Bell Tower...) so I'd rather have that. Besides, I'd like to hope that there are still some people who play it who are willing to trade me some Pokemon? xP
