I hate that I generally have really radical opinions about things sometimes, because that means I have to defend myself twice as much for having said opinion.
I don't MIND arguing my opinion, but it drives me crazy because since I question the norm as often as I do, I have to sit there and defend it ALL THE TIME, whereas the people who have the same opinions as everyone else don't have to defend it as often unless they have opposing viewpoints.
It's just so much more work sometimes and 90% of the time people don't even fucking listen to me because I'm going against what they say, so arguing my points feels aggravatingly pointless. I CAN argue my points well and generally I do. But if you aren't even going to listen to my entire proposal, there's no point.
I also love how when I argue these points most people think they aren't my opinion... when they really are. I'm probably one of the most radical/liberal thinking people you will ever meet, and people always get tripped up over it. (I guess it's because I come from a relatively traditional household?)
Ugh.
Fuck, don't act like you're fucking better than me because you have your opinion. It just means you're being rude and discourteous.
