I like the roll of your vocabulary, it reminds me of thisvelocity’s gorgeous journal.

Buckley is so frustrating for me. I love his passion and his zeal, and usually, whenever I write a music list or feature for anyone, his name will be there or there abouts even though I know he was undercooked and badly produced but his passion and prowess alone speak well beyond words, they’re trascendental. That is probably the song of his I find most frustrating, it has the Morrissey essence, the stunning voice, the line “a kingdom for a kiss upon your shoulder” is juxtaposed, lilting in the mix and it HITS between the eyes, but the length, self indulgent triplicate rain reference... just like the serenade at the end of I Know It’s Over... slightly stilts the poetry to me.

Just at a crucial moment when it has me. In sex, that frustration would be wonderful, in a song, it means I can only hear it once a year.

Anyway, for what it’s worth I actually think the poetry of your entry is more nicely paced than the song. Lovely scenes, brutal closing without ever sounding easy, it all bubbles under x
