Eris doesn't give you the people you want (in your life),
- she gives you the people that will give her the most amusement.
The other Greek gods have spoken bad about her (ever since that one party) but she is a favorite gods of many people... people who know how to get the most out of life.
Sometimes the people Eris sends your way will help you;
- but sometimes they will hate you and make your life difficult.
Sometimes they will love you and then leave you (either through death, or to go on some adventure or quest in which you choose not to go).
You can get mad about how people treat you,
- but will that help you any?
Some of the people Eris will send your way will be Men.
Men come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
Men have vital things to say and do... at least in their opinion.
Men have strengths that are amazing (at least to other men)"...
- and "flaws" that amaze women.
They bear hardships, they carry huge burdens, and they take on
impossible tasks...
- sometimes just to appease their ego or get laid.
Sometimes they smile when they want to kill;
- but sometimes they just kill.
They sing when they want to cry...
- or sometimes they get drunk... &/or pick a fight.
Sometimes they cry when they are happy...
- but they will usually hid their tears... (always if they are at a movie).
They sometimes laugh when they are nervous...
- but sometimes they find other ways to hide their nervousness.
They fight for what they believe in... or sometimes for what they want... which is usually power... power to get money or fame or love or sex.
They have many crazy ideas about life and God.
Often they stand up to injustice... but just as often (if not more often) they create injustice, at least in the eyes of others.
They have compassion, schemes and plans; and they often have big dreams too... sometimes even as big as saving (or taking over) the whole world!
Often they don't take "no" for an answer... sometimes they are willing to destroy a whole country in an attempt to get a "yes"!
Men have joined forces to create many amazing things... to make life
better for others... to defend their families and their beliefs... to
start new counties and write the Constitution of the United States of America.
Men are complex and interesting creatures... and you should never underestimate what they can do.
