I got to 4th Dan (Black Belt) vs IgoWin!
Yesterday (late last night) I got to 3rd Dan (Black Belt) vs IgoWin! - then I went to bed (very pleased with myself). I woke up very late today, turned on the computer & played a few more "games of go/Wei-Chi" vs IgoWin & I got to 4th Dan! Although I have to say IgoWin made a few bad moves that even a 17-kyu level player would have noticed... which I thought was kinda strange... I would like to know what IgoWin was "thinking".
I think it will be impossible for me to beat IgoWin at 4th Dan level because at that level IgoWin takes a four (4) stone handi-cap and gives NO Komi (what a cheater, eh?)!!!
For those of you who do not know anything about Wei-Chi let me give you an analogie: the fighting IgoWin at 4th Dan level is like entering into a boxing "cage" match with a good fighter in every corner (all four corners)! I tried a few matches at that level & twice I was able to take ~one~ of the corners but the other three then trapped me in that corner. In order to win (with no komi) I will need to take out at least two of the corners before the remaining two stop me, which seems impossible, unless I can do a matrix trick & stop "the bullets" (the stones?) in mid-air.
