So there was this one time...

...in which I had an AMAZING 21st birthday. I ended up partying with some really cool people and some of my closer friends at the moment, which was very nice to say the least. I thankfully didn't do anything too crazy, but I was my usual fun drunk self, which I guess is enough to handle for anyone. ;) Here is a list of drinks I had for my 21st...

*Red Apple Sangria
*Two Jagermiester shots
*Washington Apple
*Three shots of Tequila
*Three Jagermiester Bombs
*Three Mike's Hard Lemonades
*Three Watermelon Smirnoff Ices
*Two 8 oz. glasses of Jack/Coke

Now mind you this was over two days...but it was definitely enough to keep me smiling. :D

I've also had an excellent birthday without alcohol. For the past 24 hours I've been chilling at Murray Place just kicking it with my computer, Halo, and StarCraft with Mert and Nate. I'm headed to Paducah now with Pep to spend some more money (something I have done an EXCELLENT job with this weekend), and then yesterday I went to Eric and Stephanie's wedding.

Ah, Eric and Stephanie's wedding...it was my first wedding since I was four years old, and to be honest it was awesome. Not only did I really enjoy seeing both the bride and groom happy, it was nice to see a successful relationship develop in such fruition. I've always held their relationship in such high regards because it seemed like (to me at least) that they dealt with it all. Both of them worked hard to do well in school, they both worked from time to time and both were very busy with their own lives as well as with each other. At one point a while back they had a separation that was, I'm sure, just as intolerable to see as it was to be a part of. They got back together, obviously, and are now newlyweds. They also did something very smart...they waited until at least one of them (and they both are) graduated from college. Their wedding was outside and dimly lit (ROMANTIC!) and their wedding vows derived from Corinthians Chapter 13. God bless their union and may they have an eternity of happiness on Earth and in Heaven.

LOVE IS PATIENT.

That definitely stood out in the ceremony. No comment available at this time. Inquiry permitted if you so desire.

I'm staying busy at work and I'm also trying very hard to save money. We'll see how that goes. ;)
