Yesterday it was just mom and I and a day on the town. We left at around 10:30 AM for mom's doctor's appointment, and then after that we drove 3 hours around Atlanta in search of the beloved Cyclorama. The Cyclorama is a continuous circular panoramic painting about the size of a football field that depicts the Battle of Atlanta. The Battle of Atlanta is the last battle of General William Tecumseh Sherman's campaign during The Civil War, and it was the end of the aptly named "Railroad Campaign", in which Sherman destroyed nearly every railroad from Pittsburg Landing, TN to Savannah, GA. Needless to say, the painting was amazing. I also purchased a book entitled "Divided Hearts: Britain and the American Civil War". Looks to be an interesting read.
So I've got roughly two days left and still lots to do...need to do some homework and clean some house so I can pack up some things for the yard sale. But then I would be breaking my cardinal rule...don't do anything during spring break!!!! lol...
Other than that, it's pretty simple around here. I'm getting a cell phone today...FINALLY. If I call you, then I wanted you to have my number. ;) And if I don't have your number, then I'll post mine on MSN and you can call me. Fair enough? Yeah, I thought so.
Peace out.
