I don't comment when I can't think of anything of substance to say, but I just thought I'd let you know that I read and love all your prose. Just felt like saying so because bits of it randomly popped up in my head today.

Non-specifically, I'm more fond of the idea of baseball (even though I know little to nothing about it).

Specifically:
I read any book I could get, sometimes my mother’s, sometimes saving my few pennies to grab some to my own tastes, and wrote stories with broken scenarios and even more broken families.

“I need to learn to have faith like you. It’s just that they always have such a bad start, it’s so hard to imagine a good ending.”

Because one candidate suffered as a child and another did not, it does not make the first more deserving of the rewarding, high paying job. It does not make the path to the job purposeful or with a pretty ending. Both candidates have equal chance of failing.

But, listen, this man and his tape: these are linear.

I read Twenty-Seven Outs the first time you posted it, but I guess it didn't really register until I read it the second time.

...oh, thank you, so much. ;; Tsu, really, without people as kind as you willing to say stuff like that sometimes I'd just hang my hat in frustration at my own behavior.

Baseball is also AWESOME and would be MORE AWESOME if the Rockies would not LOSE to the Nationals who used to be the worst team in baseball, but that is now the Orioles, lol, Washington, Baltimore; it appears that section of the country is just bad for baseball, period.
