yes, they are very real. what may be fake are the story lines, regardless, they do actually hang out together when they are not filming, theyre all actual friends, and my friend cindy has only seen when the cameras arent following them.

according to someone i know from that area, laguna beach used to be a hippie town, and still basically is, and that all that OC Laguna Beach nonsense is just hyping up a small aspect of it.
