Osmosis. I've learned tons from my co-workers about computers and the like, but that still doesn't prevent me from being a total and utter boob with particular applications and settings. For an example, I accidentally reformatted an external HD the other day. How did I manage to ignore both warnings? By being completely preoccupied with something else. To add to this, my bitTorrent client is acting up--but I don't feel nearly as much of a tool with this app, since this time it was a legitimate accident of trackpad slippage--and I don't remember which button I clicked. Rock on, me.
On a completely different note, I saw Stardust last night. The trailers made it look horrible, but the movie was great! People have been comparing it to The Princess Bride because that is the only other fantasy/romcom out there. Naturally there are some things from the book that had to be edited out for time, but all in all I thought it was delightful. I think I'm going to need to own this one when it comes out on DVD.
I finally finished the llama and ostrich pieces(oxidation, yay!), and I'm just waiting for good sunlight to take photos. I should really get a lightbox.
