Miscellaneous Shit
It's April vacation! Woohoo! And the weather is...well, the weather is soggy, we shall say that much.
Friday, I drove on the highway with Ms. Shepard and Brett...then Brett tried parking in the Durham marketplace parking lot, and Shepard went inside to get some food (big surprise, huh?) so Brett and I cranked up the radio, blasted the bass, and beeped at the sweet UNH ass that made its way thru the parking lot ;) We thought about taking the "Student Driver" sign off the roof of the car, but Shepard came back before we worked up the courage.
Then I went home, and Matt picked me up. We went to Portsmouth and got lost, then we found Sakura (that was an interesting drive). I introduced my boy to sushi, and fueled the beginning of a very expensive habit.
Yesterday, I went to the barn around 9 am...did some stalls, rode Fancy (that horse is psychotic), Anja (she's getting better, but holding herself up is quite a challenge) and Guinness (his transitions are to die for. It's too bad his owner is afraid of him...I'd take over for her anytime. Got home around 4:30, and hadn't eaten anything yet...I was pretty damn hungry.
OK, random stuff: I'm quitting field hockey. I've weighed out the pros and cons (well, the lack of pros) and I now submit them for publishing.
Pros:
-It gets me in shape for skiing
Cons:
-I dread it all summer
-It cuts into my riding season
-I can't stand the ppl who play it
-I can get in shape for skiing on my own
-Junior year = homework
-I really don't like it anymore
I think I'm coming down with something, I'm all stuffed up. Leave your condolences.
