Photo Post: Team building

Yesterday we went on a narrowboat.

Actually it was a "team building" day where we spend the day getting to know the people we work 8+ hours a day with through the week and have done for at least the last three years. Other people would call it a "jolly". We like to think of it as a self financed (we paid for it ourselves) thank you for the immense amount of hard work and hours every one in the team has put in.

We went from Skipton to almost Silsden on a day cruiser narrow boat. We stopped for lunch at a pub and then pegged back to the boat for a team meeting and the return journey.

It was beautiful and, of course, we saw some places from an angle you never normally see.

I would love to own a narrowboat, and I would love to do this kind of day more often. The enforced pace of 4 miles an hour means you have no choice but to relax. However the swing bridges stopped us from getting bored.

That's half of my team.

And here's a few more. We didn't get a full team photo though.

It was a great day.
