I am both shocked and appalled. The prices for Supanova tickets have just been released. Originally Jen and I were planning on getting the VIP tickets. Now that Jen is in South Africa it is up to me to buy the tickets. But I refuse to drop $450 per ticket. That is simply ridiculous. Anyone who thinks that spending that much money on the event is a good investment seriously has too much money on their hands.
I could fly return to New Zealand for less than that.
I was thinking maybe $200 a ticket, which I would be willing to part with for the event.
They don't even have any major stars coming. Their headliners are Gareth David Lloyd (Torchwood), James Marsters (Buffy) and Karl Urban (Star Trek). Maybe if they had A grade celebrities I could understand. But these guys aren't even the main stars in their shows.
I've sent Jen an email and am waiting for her response so I know what to do.
