Urrrrrrrgh. I knew something like this was going to happen. That's why I've been so neurotic about it.
This morning I noticed I seemed to be about $90 short in my account. It had only disappeared in the last two days and the transaction wasn't showing yet in my history. I didn't think much of it.
Then I was checking my email tonight to find an email from Globetrotters, the hostel I am staying at in Dublin, hoping I enjoyed my stay there.
What?
I went and grabbed my booking receipts, which I printed out to make sure they were right, only to realise I'd booked the 4th and 5th of August instead of September! IDIOT!!!
I'm less upset over the $90 than the sudden rush of panic that I was suddenly sans accommodation for two nights and what if it was booked out by now??? Thankfully it wasn't and I've booked again. Will quadruple check it.
I can't believe I did that. I went over and over and over it a million times and never picked up that I'd put the wrong month.
I now want to call them and apologise for not showing up. I don't want them to think I'm rude.
