bah
Why do my spontaneous attempts at doing something nice always fail woefully? I was shopping today and I decided to buy mum a new vase and some gerberas to go with it. Except I've gotten home and they just look silly. I think the vase is too big or something. This is why I don't attempt to do flowers. I am hoping this will be overlooked when I present her with home made minestrone soup with crusty boutique bread.
It also turns out I bought the wrong cat food for the boys. Sigh. They can eat it, it's just more expensive than the usual brand I buy and doesn't last as long.
Oh and I bought myself these new muesli bars and they suck. They are teensy and the "honey coating" is gelatinous and extremely sticky.
The lesson is never try.
However, my to do list has been a roaring success. Everything except cleaning my room has been accomplished. I'm too lethargic to do it now, but it will happen... eventually.
I think I am going to entertain myself by working out a weekly budget. I figure if I get in the habit of doing one by Thursday for the coming week I can factor in bills and stuff.
