the simple pleasures of matching underwear
It's been unbearably hot in Penrith the past three days with each day reaching 41 degrees Celcius [105.8 Farenheit] so I've spent most of my time lying as low as possible. It was significantly cooler in the city today so I escaped the oven and went shopping with Jen.
I must admit, I am very happy with my purchases. DVDs were on special at JB Hi Fi so I picked up Season 4 of Doctor Who for much less than what it normally is. We also went to Myer where I bought myself these cute little pyjamas - pink lace singlet with teensy pink cotton boxers as well as matching Calvin Klein bra and undies.
I really love owning matching sets, but it's so damn expensive even when there's a sale. I think it's ridiculous that the bra will be $50 and the bottoms $25. Twenty-five dollars for cotton undies! Just because they bloody match!!!
Currently reading Cross Stitch by Diana Gabaldon, which is more or less 18th Century Scottish porn. I'm finding it very difficult to not suddenly start talking in a Scottish brogue, saying things like "Och my wee lassie, that is a bonny one ye have there."
