I have decided to skip uni today and start to work on my essays. This was a spur of the moment decision that was influenced by many factors. Crappy weather, the fact I needed to stop at an atm to get money for the train, indecision on what shoes to wear.
Considering these are the last essays I have to write for my degree, I want them to be brilliant. I'm still deciding between two almost identical questions for Music & Popular Culture: "[insert ridiculously long quote about music affecting mind body and spirit] Discuss in relation to your own sense of identity and how you interact with music." Or "How important is musical taste in the construction of identity?"
I know, they're almost identical except the first one focusses on my own experiences and the second one is sans bullshit quote.
For Culture Writing and Textuality I've chosen the topic: "Is fashion art and is art fashionable?" Except it's such a broad topic I don't know if I should cover a little bit of everything or just focus on certain aspects.
ANYWAY.
I've determined that once I've done a certain amount of uni work I will head into Penrith for lunch. Huzzah!
ramble,
