Art a No Go
So, I was kind of stumped on "DR", and thought, "hey, I'll take a break from writing and maybe try to make a banner or something for Distant Relations". Yeah...about 20 minutes into that I remembered exactly why I avoided all art classes like the plague and left artwork to those more talented than I. I ended up making a few crap icons (croping and sizing being the extent of those masterpieces), and then I wrote a few pages "DR". All in all, a fair trade I suppose.
In other creative outlets: somewhere between the disaster that was banners 'n' icons and writing on "DR", I also worked a little on a video (also DR-themed. Yes, I am a goober). I can usually hold my own on vids, so I thought maybe it wouldn't be as disastrous as the icons. The beginning was interesting, the midddle...not so much. I think my time is better spent writing. And on that note...I think I'll go do just that.
