So I finished off telling my Eurotour story when we were in Italy. After Lido de Jesolo, we spent one night in San Remo where I cut and died my hair... or rather Pip cut and died my hair. The next day we made the trip to Avignon, stopping briefly in Monaco, one of the most expensive cities to live in in the world. We spent two nights in Avignon, roaming the city and getting lost, the usual exchange student thing to do. After Avignon, we headed to Paris where I found out Emily was coming to meet up with us because she had gotten better and wasnt sick anymore. So we arrived in Paris and went to eat at the coolest Greek restaurant where I ended up dancing on the table... haha good times. Then Gi, Jakob (one of our guides) and I went to Charles de Gaulle airport to pick the Emily up and we went back to our hotel. The next day, we saw the Eiffel tower and many other things in the heart of paris. We had some free time so the first day instead of acting like tourists, Pip, Emily, and I decided to explore the underbelly of Paris... and we managed to spot Parisian bums that had expensive cell phones. I have no idea how that is supposed to work, but yeah. The second day we did tourist things like going to Versailles and making our way to the Louvre. And good times were had by all. I never made it up inside the Eiffel tower, but I know I'll be back to Paris. There is too much in that city to say one has seen paris in 2 days. The next morning we made our way to Bruxelles which was a pretty cool town... except my wallet was stolen. All my bank cards and the rest of my eurotour money which was about 40€... all gone. There is no way to get money from the states or from my account in Denmark. And I have to pay for my plane ticket... 660 kr in the next two weeks because I'm leaving two weeks from thursday argh. So anyway, the last day of the trip was spent in Amsterdam and Arnhem. Both beautiful cities. We took a boat ride through amsterdam and saw many really cool things.
Basically, Eurotour was a success... but I lost my journal from the whole year and my wallet was stolen in a matter of two days. Talk about laame.
Anyway, I'm out.
