Muffin Happiness

Yesterday I was happy to discover a type of muffin new to me: cheese and black pepper. This morning I'm struggling to decide if it gets to bump the delicious cinnamon and raisin variety off its top muffin spot. Oh, wondrous country that inventeth such things

Traditional British Muffins (not those American abominations) are a savoury bready product, and although usually served plain with butter and jams can also be found as a cheese version :-)

I can't say I'm a huge fan of plain cheese muffins though, it's the extra spice that does it for me.
