After the DWCon meeting in Birmingham a couple weeks back, Eelco kindly made time to come down to London for a brief visit. He brought ktichen hand towels! They're 50cm x 50cm as opposed to their larger bathroom hand towel cousins. They're a cheerful red with a white stripe at each end, i.e., not Englishly floral which offends Wingnut's delicate Dutch design sensibilities.
So thank you to the other people who offered to go to the HEMA for us, but we're sorted. We also have a goodly supply of stroopwafels now. *smug*
By the way, curiousity moved me to ask an American friend what she dried her hands with in the kitchen. Paper towels! She did say that she used them to wipe down the bench with afterward. Also, she finds full sheets too much but you can buy paper towels in half sheets. The things you learn. :-)
