Who is Herman Wallace?
I expected to find either a mysterious arty website regarding Herman Wallace or nothing at all. Instead, the first hit on Google is a website calling for his release. Herman Wallace is one of the Angola 3, who were placed in solitary confinement in 1972 after the murder of a prison guard. That's a hard fact for me to process, it's longer than I've been alive.
One of the 3 was released in 2001, the other two are still incarcerated. Their treatment seems to be politically motivated and Amnesty International regards Herman Wallace and Albert Woodfox as prisoners of conscience.
