Howdy Neighbour

About a week ago, we had a Surinamer from a cold country and/or a Dutchman from a hot country to stay.

It was Ent's first time in East London, so a wander around was in order. As we headed out, we passed someone coming up the stairs. Ent said hello to the guy, which made me inwardly smile. Such funny little foreign ways. Because, as a Londoner, I know that you're not supposed to acknowledge your neighbours' existence.

Ent thought this was ridiculous, so the very next day, wilfully and with malice aforethought, wished another person good morning. Tsk.

The day after that, I was given a shock. Someone greeted me as I went down the stairs. Ent, what have you done?!
