Simply Messing About In Boats
It's always fun looking at the canal boats along Regents Canal and you quickly learn to recognise the regulars. Some owners put in quite a bit of work decorating their boats, like this one I saw for the first time on the way to Broadway Market yesterday.
Also, no photo, but further along some enterprising souls were chalking rough pictures and text on their boat to the effect that various chilled alcoholic drinks would be supplied to overheated passersby for a £2 donation. They'd thoughtfully included the reassuring information that a license had been "applied for".
