I am, of course, referring to Supernatural. Season 5 is only a handful of eps in and has already produced a couple of eps that are up there with my all-time faves. But this week... OMFG. This week the writers came up with sheer gold. I LOVE LOVE LOVED it.
Would you believe I have watched it twice already and I only finished downloading it last night, lol.
* The first immediate standout was twice as much Dean... I had to love that. But man, what a different Dean future!Dean was. No necklace, bracelet or anything personal on him, he was an emotionless, clinical killing machine. (But still freaking HOT. OMFG. I loved the thigh strap thingy he wore. *phwoar*) JA acted his ARSE off this ep, IMO. Two Dean's but they were both very distinct in character. Awesome.
* Vessel!Sam in the white get up. Bit of a change from the normal Sam, hey? And those loafers, lol. Even though I know this vision of Sam was Zachariah's doing, it still made me wonder what on earth would make Sam say the 'big YES' to that question... regardless of the fact that he and Dean were apart, I still can't imagine a scenario where Sam would let Lucifer 'wear him the the prom' so to speak.
* Chuck FTW - how fucking hilarious was he? LOL. "Some free advice? You ever get back there, you hoard toilet paper. You understand me? Hoard it. Hoard it, like it's made of gold."
BWAH! Man, I love Chuck. *g*
* Cas. Your average drug-taking, ex-angel hippie. With a lifestyle that included orgies! The 2009!Dean was a bit jealous of that, I reckon. *g* I laughed a lot watching him and 2009!Dean - Misha and Jensen totally rock their scenes together!
* And the end... with our boys back together. *bounces* I loved Dean's comment that staying together 'keeps them human.' *sigh*
And next week is the ep with Paris Hilton... I've seen the promos and it looks like another classic. Can't wait!
It's the long weekend here in Sydney and naturally, because of this fact, we have rain forecast for the entire three days, lol. It ALWAYS rains on long weekends so I don't know why people are so surprised! Besides, we need a bit of moisture around the place, if only to rinse off all the remaining red dust from the dust storm earlier in the week.
It's also Grand Final weekend for rugby league, too, so the blokes who live here are in Finals Mode... we've got liquid refreshments in the fridge, enough food to sink a ship, and the big screen telly is all set to go.
Enjoy your weekends, gals.
