Those lazy, crazy days of summer in Sydney...
Dude. The heat has come to town with a blowtorch- we've had high 30's (95-100F) temps for the last few days - but today is a doozie, around 40-41 deg (104F) and virtually NO wind. Man, it's HOT.
Took the kids to the local swimming pool this morning which was fantastic and now we are at home with the air-conditioning on, watching dvd's on the telly. :)
On Saturday we head off to Ettalong Beach for our annual holiday, a whole week away from work, no answering company phones, no hustle and bustle, just sun, sand, the surf and re-lax-ation. Oh yeeeaah. *g* I have teh large sunhat, book and sunnies all ready to assume my spot on the sand, and you can be sure if there is any eye candy worth looking at I WILL be ogling checking it out! LOL.
Am also taking Maxine along for the ride, just in case I get a chance to grab some writing time. I live in hope! It's been waaay to long since I wrote anything. Will also try to pop in and say hi during the week if I can, assuming I can find a wireless connection to bunny hop onto around the block, lol! We may be lucky and have a connection locally this year instead of me driving around with Maxine like some fugitive from justice. *giggles*
Ookay. Enough babble from me. *mops brow* I have yet another load of washing to hang out. At least in this weather, it won't take long to dry! :)
