A conversation with Hannah
Last night I called the MiL so that I could talk to Miss Hannah for a bit - mostly I wanted to find out if she had seen the color swatches, and what she thought of them, but we were also just chatting about how her week had been going.
Out of nowhere, she says that she has a serious question to ask me. Hmmmm.....
"Mom, do you know if cable and satellite tvs get the same channels?"
I replied that they did sometimes get different channels, but that they go a lot of the same ones too. "Oh," she says, sounding sad. "Because I've been watching all these great shows with Grandma Lily that I really like, and I was really hoping I could watch them when I came home too."
Turns out that Kate has introduced her to the wonders of Project Runway and Design Star, and she loves them. She was very relieved to hear that we get Lifetime and HGTV at our house too.
Now, to consider further getting the satellite repaired or not.
