2010-07-09 Naruto ch501 write-up
Admittedly inspired by the parody-review stylings of Gabzillaz, if only because I bothered to write it down.
Naruto; Chapter 501: The Nine-Tails Strikes!
- Eee~!!! adorable babbeh Sasuke and Naruto!
- I guess this confirms that Sakura is the youngest though, huh?
- "longest day"...? It's friggin' already night out!
- Kishi sure likes his zippers, and suddenly Kushina's ridiculously large stomach has shrunk after only one (tiny) baby and some amniotic fluids.
- apparently blood pooling makes a sound effect
- I love Minato's sleeves~
- necks aren't made to bend that way Kishi...
- h'oh shit son! BOMBS! (I can see why he became Deidara's 'partner')
- Minato has a talking splinter... wussy.
- Yeah Naruto, just 'a little bit'.
- Clearly that scene of Kushina holding baby Naruto in the anime all those years ago was a giant lie.
- . . . I like Madara's mask >.> (it's kind of the start of the swirly)
- Kyuubi's pissed. Oh yeah, definitely Madara.
- . . . I'm really not even sure what just happened there.
- Madara wants Kyuubi to come out... I read a bad fanfiction about that once.
- Hueg Kyuubi is HUEG.
- Madara is impressed by the Uzumaki clan's ability to not die.
- ... I see what you did there Kishi
- I also want to know at what point the blanket was tied around her hips.
- What a totally unexpected development. -.-
- Yes, Minato. Because leaving your five to ten minute old son alone in your apartment and when the Kyuubi is about to go rampaging through the village is a "safe" 'hiding' place.
- I want to know why Kushina is asking 'why'.
I also want to know why Kyuubi's chakra is able to rip open zippers.
- Apparently they're actually in some sort of storage locker/bunker. Minato just happens to keep his jackets stashed everywhere.

- Kishi may suck at drawing babies (and women -.-) but he's got 5year-olds down!
- And thus begins the (epic) five-year storyline of "the worst day (night) in Konoha history".

So tempted to take a month or two break from Naruto so I only have to sit through one emo-ish and angst-ridden session.
... I want to hear more about this whole 'Naruto knowing marine biology' business.
