Thank you so much for posting this. It was hard to read at first, and hard to read at the end as you find yourself wishing for what might have been, but it was beautiful. I always believe that all our versions of Ennis and Jack--and yes, Heath and Jake too--are out there somewhere being happy together. Somewhere, in another dimension, things have turned out very differently, and you've given us a window into that other life.

I sent you a pm through livejournal but I'm not really sure how that works, so I might have done it wrong! Anyway, what I wanted to tell you was that I didn't read too much RPS before, but on Friday I had the day off from work and was feeling totally lost and depressed, no idea what to do with myself, and it occurred to me that I could try some RPS to see if I felt better. Then I read Boys in Love and absolutely loved it--it helped to comfort me at a time when things looked pretty bleak. Thank you for that, and for helping to keep us together as a community. I'm so glad to be a part of it, especially now. xx Jen
