Yeah, by and large it's kinda pointless, but I can't help but appreciate a service that puts me back in contact with so many people I used to know.
An old friend from high school just added me there, and when I checked out his profile, I discovered that his band landed a song on the Spiderman 3 soundtrack. I'd always wondered whether he and a few other guys would go anywhere with their music; now I know, at least in his case. Pretty cool!
But don't worry, LiveJournal. You'll always hold a spot in my heart.
