Money ftw
So I did my taxes last night.
I got everything back, State and Fed. $911. Holy shit. Only, it didn't quite work out like that. You see, were I to file by mail, it would take me for fucking ever to get my monies, which just wont fly. I need that shit ahora. So I filed with TurboTax. They charged me $15 Fed and $30 State. Okay, that's fine, I can live with that. But then they tell me I can either put that charge on my card or I can get it automatically deducted from my refund. I only have thirty bucks in my bank account, and also a desire to eat sometime in the next week or two. So, I choose the latter. And they inform me that there is an additional $30 charge for this service. Fuck.
I still get back $836. Fucking awesome. It pays to be a college student. You know, except for the parts where it also costs a lot of money.
So, it looks like next month I'll be able to both make rent AND eat. That's fucking awesome. It's the month after that I have to worry about. However, x2 gainful employment to the rescue. I should have allotted enough money by then that I can make rent, or at least only need to borrow a reasonable amount from my father figure.
This is good.
In a few days three strangers are spending the weekend in my unfurnished apartment. Hmm. I should clean it. On the plus side, Silver Sprocket gave me a vacuum cleaner. Funny story, that.
Oh man, I'm totally gonna be a bitch and leave you hanging on the latest Silver Sprocket shenanigans, because I'm fucking hungry, so I'm gonna go eat. Ha!
