Oh, cool! Thanks so much for this lovely and really interesting commentary!
And I think it's really neat how you pointed out the Sheppard/John dichotomy, because I've got to be honeset, I didn't think about it while I was writing--it just kind of fell in there. :D
You're an angel.
Also, we need to you know, shock therapy Korman fandom. We need more minions or whatever. ARE YOU WITH ME?
But wait--the committee was illegalized! So was the coalition! We need a new word, man.
The thing about Korman fandom is that it seems to burst into life every time somebody writes something, but since there are like FOUR PEOPLE who are actively writing in it (AGONY) we need to do something SHOCK THERAPY our brethern.
In conclusion: I want more stories of zany antics. *agony*

Since there's no way we'd be able to get sufficient quantities of the books to airdrop them over LJ-land, I propose the next best thing:
Harness the awesome power of the SGA fandom, writing sga_fusions and crossovers and using the sheer black-hole gravity of SGA to slingshot around until the entire fandom finds itself in scrimmettes.
Because when Major G. Gavin Gunhold and Elizabeth are captured on an offworld mission, what is junior diplomat Bruno Walton to do?
. . . I have delusions of grandeur but can't actually write anything longer than [------] this.
