Hello everyone! This is it yet again, channeled readings and Hero's Deck drawings from yours truly, with the lovely goddess Astarte (nee Ishtar, nee Noe'e
( Read more... )
I don't have any specific questions, but a general reading would be great. :) Just whatever you can pick up, if something or someone out there wants me to know something and I've been dense. XD
Astarte answers, "Thank you for giving this a signal boost; I think Zeeth thinks this isn't the time, but he needs it! "Now as to your request: You have a quiet spring ahead, but it's exactly what you'll need; the summer looks to be a time of intense growth, and it's best to spend your quiet time preparing for newness and loss in many ways."
The Hero's Deck suggests a Gift of Patience, supporting this with the thought that sometimes the hardest thing to do is wait for the trees to mature around you before you build your ship. ... and then I see an image of that ship sailing in blue-white skies, over my shoulder into the great unknown.
The challenge of Temptation has apparently pulled itself out of the Hero's Deck to give itself to you. Temptation loves to throw itself at people! Be careful what sort of temptations you listen to, but it's okay to indulge now and then, or what would we love about it? ;) More seriously, something is calling you, but despite its charms, there is something less beneficial inside it. Give some thought before leaping on the prize.
Astarte simply nods. "Sweet things are good sometimes. Eat lightly of them and they are all the sweeter."
Ishtar stands up, unclothed in the greenery of Spring's vestments. She declaims to you: "Now is the time of regalia bright/ In the Spring and great Delight Come to you; spurn it briefly/ Then indulge." She sits, wrapping herself in a robe of emerald-colored cloth.
"More clearly, child, enjoy the delights that come, and let the pains of your situation pass. All things are new, or becoming so."
Then she gestures to me, and instead of the Hero's Deck, asks that I give you a prophecy.
I see a great city, New York or equivalent, a little smoggy now and then. The clouds I note are a dark vapor that turns to rain. You are dancing in the rain of the city, though it stings in its intensity. Then someone comes to you, and joins you in the dance before moving on to another partner. In that time, I see shops and work, surrounding a wreath of green leaves and a certified document of some kind. That is your name at the top, acknowledging something you have earned, and a license you are entitled to use.
Noe'e manifests before you, wings folded and a book in her lap. "Tonight I have a tale for you.
"In the long-ago, there was a planet that evolved creatures not unlike dragons, but none of them flew. There the people were low to the ground and spoke in harsh growls and honks. They ate of many things, but none were omnivorous.
"That world passed through many changes, and the sky fell on it. Within two hundred years, none of the dragon-like creatures were present, but many descendants remained.
"Earth is very like that world, with one exception: They had creatures that flew.
"I ask you, what is better: to learn to fly, or to learn to dodge an asteroid?"
And here I sit, wondering at her story myself. With a nudge, she hands me the deck. From it I draw the Innocent, a child wondering at the Universe and hoping to know all its tales. Soon, however, she will put those stories to work for her, and in the meantime there is truth to be found. This Innocent is always learning her work, and thus she is always freed by it in unexpected ways.
As far as asking a question, you're doing fine. :)
The Hero's Deck shows you a gift of Magic, appearing when the card is turned, but invisible when it's turned again. Something is happening beneath the surface, but it will only appear when it is ready, and not before. As far as relating this to your question, I asked the Deck to clarify, and it placed in my hand a Servant, one who will appear to help you when the Magic manifests.
Astarte says, "Power is flowing, and it is not yet in your hands. You must look around you before you give up, but the signs are clear in the faces of your friends."

Good luck, and good sense. :)

Should I give up and move on, or should I keep pushing?

It seems the universe wishes me to learn patience as I wait for what is happening beneath the surface to appear. I can do patience :)
Blessed be.
